Today we learned about the celebration of Holi, "the celebration of colors" in India. It is a time to celebrate Spring and new beginnings. One of the traditions is to use flowers that are dried and rolled into powder and throw them at each other during a celebration! The children made people with very colorful clothing to represent this tradition. We also made the Lotus flower, a very common flower found in India!
