Today we had fun pretending to be Mo Willems as the author and illustrator. We read the story Knuffle Bunny Free and then the children became Mo Willems. They chose a place on our playground and got a real picutre, just like in Mo's books about Knuffle Bunny and after we did a directed drawing of Knuffle Bunny the children wrote a sentence about where Knuffle Bunny liked to play. The children also wrote about their favorite thing to do on our playground! Each one has it's own personality and turned out amazing!
