What a super great day we had making all things winter!! Jan Brett's story The Hat was our book today! It's another amazing story about animals and wearing clothing! Take a listen to the story with your family! I guarentee you will love it! The children made some very colorful hats and did a sequencing activity to go along with our book!
We also did a really fun winter project! The children made themselves looking up in the sky and catching a snow flake! We used wet chalk to make our sweaters and scarves look like wool! During math, we used animal crackers and had to guess how many would fit in mittens!!
